CBS has announced the premieres of returning summer reality series Big Brother and new show Same Name.
The 13th season will launch Thursday, July 7 at 9 p.m. with returning host Julie Chen. Big Brother will air three times a week — Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 9 p.m. and Sundays at 8 p.m. — with the live evictions on Thursday nights.
Same Name, which centers on celebrities trading places with strangers with the same name, debuts Sunday, July 24 at 9 p.m.
In addition, CBS announced that the 38th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, hosted by Wayne Brady, will air Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m. and the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, hosted by Michael Chiklis will air Monday, July 4 at 10 p.m.
THR reported earlier today that Neil Patrick Harris will return to host the 65th annual Tony Awards, which will air Sunday, June 12
